When I Grow Up

I was hired to illustrate a sample of four pages for a children’s book, which the author planned to submit to publishers. The story carried the message that little girls can become anything they want to be, with the heroine dreaming of all kinds of big and unexpected jobs.

I illustrated her as a fun, happy little girl who feels confident, curious, and adventurous. It was very exciting to be part of the early life of this book project.
