Folkeshi

I created this illustration project for Folkeshi, a seller of vintage and new kokeshi dolls. I illustrated a set of kokeshi dolls for them to use as part of their branding, bringing a warm and recognisable visual touch to their identity.

Each kokeshi was hand drawn one by one using wax crayons, then digitalised to create an illustration that could be used across both digital and printed touchpoints. The hand-drawn style, with its small imperfections, brings a warmth that resonates with the handmade nature of kokeshi dolls.

I also designed a postcard featuring the illustration, which Folkeshi included in their clients’ orders as a small branded keepsake.
