About me

Charlotte Marillet is a French graphic designer and illustrator based in Tokyo. With an early background in IT consulting and project management, she brings both creative sensitivity and structured thinking to her work. After studying design in Dublin and working across print, web, branding, and illustration, she developed a practice shaped by clear communication, visual storytelling, and an eye for everyday details.

Her illustration work extends this same approach into a more narrative and expressive visual language. Inspired by everyday life, quiet moments, objects, characters, and the visual poetry of her surroundings, she creates warm and observant images for both personal and client-led projects. Living in Japan has become an important source of inspiration, shaping an illustration style that feels thoughtful, gently playful, and full of character.
